It is easier to lose money in a bull market than in a bear market. There are two reasons behind this:
1. You feel that everyone around you is making money, and you are sick if you don’t make money. This fomo emotion causes you to keep adding positions, increasing leverage, and chasing hot spots.
2. The bull market gives people the hope of making money, making you more bold in your operations, and making you lose your caution in the bear market. You think that even if you lose one order, it’s okay, and you can easily make it back. Little do you know that the more daring you are, the more you lose.
