CryptoQuant announced today that Ethereum has surpassed Bitcoin to record the highest spot trading volume.
According to CryptoQuant's analysis, Ethereum's spot trading volume last week was $25.7 billion (approximately 35.1524 trillion Korean won), while Bitcoin's was $24.4 billion (approximately 33.3743 trillion Korean won). This is the first time since June 2024 that the ETH/BTC spot trading volume ratio has exceeded 1.
This phenomenon suggests that investors are moving funds from Bitcoin to Ethereum and other altcoins. Particularly, Ethereum overtaking Bitcoin's trading volume is interpreted as an important signal of changing investment trends in the cryptocurrency market.
