Pakistan and El Salvador establish first bilateral ties, focus on cryptocurrency cooperation

Planet Daily News: Pakistan and El Salvador have established diplomatic relations for the first time, placing cryptocurrency cooperation at the core of their relationship. According to a statement from the Pakistani Minister's Office, Bilal Bin Saqib, CEO of the Pakistan Crypto Committee and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Cryptocurrency and Blockchain, met with El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele in El Salvador to discuss a knowledge-sharing partnership. The meeting, held on July 16, 2025, marks the beginning of official cooperation between the two countries in the cryptocurrency field. (Bloomberg)
