ChainCatcher reports that ConsenSys stated that "Ethereum will become the trust software of the digital world", where Ethereum serves as a Trustware, a digital infrastructure that can enable a massive upgrade from reliance on physical bills, paper ledgers, metal coins, and opaque private databases.
Trustware, through a fully algorithmic process, injects validity and finality into ordinary data and benefits from Ethereum's network effects and staking security. BlackRock, JPMorgan, Visa, and Franklin Templeton have all adopted Ethereum for asset tokenization, payments, and other practical use cases.
