Editor's Note: Since Hyperliquid launched HyperEVM, its ecosystem has been rapidly expanding, with DeFi, GameFi, and other projects emerging. SMooTH has reviewed the early-stage GameFi and SocialFi projects in Hyperliquid, grading them based on project development progress, influence, and product quality. Odaily will provide additional information about these early projects in this article for readers' reference.
A-Grade GameFi Projects
These projects demonstrate real potential. Although they may still be in the early stages or lack one or two features, their project vision exists, and their execution is equally impressive. If they further improve (or accumulate a player base), they could develop rapidly.
808 FLIP: NFT-Based Coin Flipping Game with Revenue Sharing
808 FLIP allows users to play a coin flipping game on-chain, where players can bet any amount of HYPE on heads or tails, then click "Flip" to see the result. By holding the official Non-Fungible Token, players receive revenue sharing. On July 3rd, the project completed its second revenue distribution. The game combines a classic guessing mechanism with Web3 incentive mechanisms, offering simple gameplay and platform revenue sharing. However, the following regions are not allowed to play on 808 Flip: Australia, Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, France, Netherlands, Saba, Spain, Starke, Saint Martin, United Kingdom, United States.
808 Flip has also launched a points and referral system, where referrers can earn 10% of points and transaction fees from friends.
Genesy: P2E Strategy Game Built Around Optimizing Chips
Genesy is a P2E strategy game on the Hyperliquid platform where players can upgrade their "Genesy chips" to increase GENESY token production rate. The "chip" consists of 9 customizable components. It can be simply understood as an "on-chain mining project" where players are motivated to continuously upgrade their "chips" when GENESY tokens are profitable. However, it is currently in the early stage, and the chip upgrade function is not available.
30% of GENESY tokens will be produced by players, 7% belongs to the development fund, 7% is allocated to strategic partners, 10% is a reserve fund, 10% is allocated to the team, and 36% is used for ecosystem growth.
Kittykingdom: On-Chain PvP Adventure Game Using Hero Non-Fungible Tokens
Kittykingdom is a full-chain battle adventure game built on Hyperliquid, featuring missions, PVP and PVE elements, and pets. Currently, there are 20,000 hero Non-Fungible Tokens, each priced at $100, and players can only start the game by purchasing a hero. The official will use 50% of hero sales to repurchase KITTY tokens, 20% for game development, 10% as game rewards, 10% for airdrops, and 10% as referral rewards. However, only 59 Non-Fungible Tokens have been sold so far.
KITTY is the game's governance token, with a total supply of 100 million, of which the team retains 20%. The remaining 80% was fairly launched through hypurr.fun and won the Hyperliquid spot auction on April 14, 2025. Gold is the game's utility token, entirely generated through PVP gameplay, with a total supply of 1 billion.

B-Grade GameFi Projects
These projects are either not yet officially launched or are experiencing development challenges. However, if they complete Beta testing, they have decent potential.
Yolo.ex: Sci-Fi Adventure Game Combined with Real DeFi Trading
Yolo.ex integrates game storylines with trading strategies in a future world where players make real on-chain trades in a 3D game, and their trading decisions influence plot development. The game is built on Hyperliquid and is already available for early access on Epic Games.
Vegas: Crypto Poker Platform Without House Rake
Vegas is a decentralized poker game running on Hyperliquid, currently in Beta testing. It supports tournaments and sports betting, characterized by real stakes, fair competition, and on-chain transparency. According to the official announcement, the game will conduct its first test on July 11th and 12th.
However, Vegas does not use HYPE or stablecoins as stakes, but instead uses its platform token VEGAS. This token has been listed on the Hyperliquid spot market with a market cap of $4.86 million.
Moon: Space Exploration Game (Not Yet Launched)
Moon is a space-themed game in the early development stage. Although still in the pre-release phase, it promises an immersive on-chain galaxy exploration game on Hyperliquid. Each Moon is a Non-Fungible Token that players can obtain through exploration or purchase on the secondary NFT market. The scarcity of Moon determines the rarity and value of its resources.
Horsy.games: Combination of NFT Horse Racing and On-Chain DeFi
Horsy.games is an on-chain horse racing game where players can buy, sell, and race Non-Fungible Token horses. By combining the HORSY token with USDC liquidity pool, it successfully integrates betting, staking, and trading functions, similar to Zed Run, but native to HyperLiquid.
The HORSY token was launched on HyperEVM on June 25th, with a current market cap of $983,000 according to dexscreener.
Chain Tactics: Chess-Like 1v1 Strategy Game
Chain Tactics incorporates tactical role-playing game elements and chess-style battles into a 1v1 mode. Developed by Sovrun (formerly BreederDAO), it is reportedly still in production (the most recent X platform activity was posted on February 5, 2025).
SocialFi Projects on HyperLiquid (B-Grade)
These applications are trying to engage users, incentivize attention, and build community infrastructure in new ways. Although still in the early stages, creativity continues to emerge.
HyperRaid: Raid-to-Earn Model
HyperRaid rewards users for completing social and on-chain tasks for supported ecosystem projects, gamifying tasks, lotteries, and whitelist spots into a community-driven growth engine. Currently, 13 projects have published social tasks on HyperRaid.
Fan App: A Creator-Fan Platform with Crypto Native Characteristics
Fan App helps creators share research, Alpha, and insights with their community. Community members access these through Creator Keys - a permissionless way to monetize valuable information directly on Hyperliquid.
Summary
Although HyperLiquid was designed for trading, this hasn't stopped developers from being creative. From RPG games integrating DeFi elements to creator monetization applications, the ecosystem has demonstrated diversity beyond market and analyst research.
While most of these projects are still in early stages, some are already online and growing. In any case, this indicates that Hyperliquid's significance goes far beyond just a perpetual contract liquidity pool.
