The meme coin platform on Solana – Pump.fun – will list the PUMP token on July 12, according to the countdown on Gate. It is expected that 150 billion PUMP will be sold at a price equivalent to $0.04 USDT/token.
The sale period will last 72 hours, with 15% of the total max supply of 1,000 billion tokens being distributed. Additional distribution details will be announced later. Pump.fun representatives declined to comment, while the account @zoomerfied was the first to share the information on X.
Gate announced that the sale will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with a minimum purchase requirement and no maximum limit.
Pump.fun was previously reported to be raising capital at a valuation of $4 billion and may integrate a revenue-sharing mechanism for its native token.
Launched in early 2024, Pump.fun allows anyone to create tokens on Solana, becoming the primary platform for new meme coins. On January 23, 2025, daily revenue peaked at over $7 million, currently stabilizing around $1 million per day. Total revenue to date is approximately $700 million, making Pump.fun one of the most successful projects in the crypto field.
A co-founder of Pump.fun has been hinting about the token since October 2024.
